Haverhill Public Schools: District Data Team
Statement of Purpose
Approved by DDT: 3/7/11
Capitalizing on prior district efforts, the Haverhill District Data Team will guide the district in using data effectively to inform and improve teaching and learning. The District Data Team will do this by:
- Building a culture of acceptance to embrace effective data practices
- Using data to ensure that strategic initiatives to improve data use are in alignment with the DIP
- Supporting an adequate infrastructure to enable effective data practices
- Creating an environment where teachers have time to focus on effective data practices
- Building data leadership capacity in schools through the use of professional data knowledge, skills and tools
- Modeling effective data practices
