Dear 8^th grade parents,

As you all know the 8^th graders have a Promotion dance. A group of us have been meeting every two weeks to get things organized and looking excellent for the students.

We are looking for donations of water, chips, ice and icicle lights. Icicle lights will be returned. If you are able to donate any of these items, please contact Tricia Manjounes 978-914-4707 or smiley90mom@comcast.net.

Highlights from last meeting: Nettle is in second place in the Uno’s race. Keep going out Nettle.

Academic Bowl is underway. There are 50 kids going to Ferry Beach. On April 5 there will be a Variety Show during school hours. MCAS testing starts soon.

Daily and weekly notices can be found on Nettle’s website. Parents told dates and times are not always accurate on the Alert Now emails that go out. It was decided to serve the staff members Chinese on May 9^th for staff appreciation week. Parents will be called to donate desserts. We will pick up one more day if needed.

Family night out for May and June will be Biggarts. It was decided to go with Meadow Farm again next year.

Michelle Joubert is going to look into an account that the teachers want and give us more information at the next meeting.
