Dear Parent/Guardian: December 3, 2012
This year at the Dr. Paul Nettle Middle School we will follow a district wide initiative and offer a brunch during half days. The brunch will be served for only those students interested in eating. Brunch will be served starting at 8:00am in the school cafeteria. Lunch will not be served on half days. The cost
is $3.00 for paid students and $.40 for reduced students. The brunch choices are as follows: 1. waffles with syrup and turkey sausage, 2. egg and cheese on a whole wheat roll. The sides for either meal include baked tator tots, carrot sticks
with dip, choice of fruit and 1% milk. Students who attend after school programming should make plans for lunch on half days as they will not be served at the school. The goal of this program is to increase instructional time during half days.
This program will be available on the following days: December 5th 2012,
December 21,2012, January 30, 2013, February 7, 2013 and March 6, 2013.
We look forward to your feedback on this change. Any feedback you wish to give please direct your letter to the Nettle Middle School Site Council. We will then coordinate all feedback and report back to the school district.
Thank you very much for your support and continued efforts in improving our school community.
Sincerely,
Michael Rossi
