Golden Hill School is proud to announce the GET SMART HAVERHILL! Program. UNO Haverhill and CCS New England have partnered together to create a first ever Dough Raiser Fundraiser Program to benefit the Haverhill Public School System. The Greater Haverhill Chamber of Commerce is a proud sponsor.
UNO Haverhill will host GET SMART HAVERHILL! for all Haverhill Public Schools from March 1, 2013 through April 30, 2013. With GET SMART HAVERHILL!, guests of UNO Haverhill are able to support their Haverhill Public School of choice. Guests bring tickets with them to UNO and 20% of their bill will go directly to their school of choice. Each school will receive 20% of all ticketed sales for their school for the entire two month period. The school that raises the most funds will receive a SMART Board interactive whiteboard Model 660 (Retail Value of $1760) generously donated by CCS New England.
A “GET SMART HAVERHILL!!” Celebration Party will be held in May 15, 2013 to announce and celebrate the school that raised the most funds that will be receiving the donated SMART Interactive whiteboard Model 660.
What this means for students, parents and Golden Hill School:
Golden Hill Schoolhas an opportunity to raise some serious dough to support its programs and a chance to receive a donated SMART Board Interactive whiteboard!. If Golden Hill School receives the SMART Board interactive whiteboard, it will be used for student learning throughout the curriculum!
What can I do to make sure Golden Hill School raises the most funds and receives the SMART Board:
We ask parents, students, members of the community and local businesses to consider UNO Haverhill their restaurant of choice from March 1-April 30, 2013. Golden Hill School will receive GET SMART HAVERHILL! Dough Rai$er tickets to utilize to support the program. These GET SMART HAVERHILL! Tickets will be valid for use in the UNO Haverhill restaurant and lounge. They will also be valid for take-out, delivery and catering. Dough Rai$er tickets will be valid as printed tickets or when shown as an image on your phone. Golden Hill School Dough Rai$er tickets are also available on the Haverhill Public Schools website, www.haverhill-ps.org, as well as the UNO Haverhill Facebook page: www.facebook.com/unohaverhill.
In addition to the ability to support our school at any time between March 1-April 30, 2013, Golden Hill School will be hosting Golden Hill School days where we encourage all of you to come out to UNO Haverhill and support us.

Recently our school took part, along with the district, in the Cool Science Artist Contest.
Our art teacher, Kathy Frieswick and fourth grade team worked together with the students to learn about
science and integrate it into the arts program at Golden Hill.

was selected a winner for January. His winning artwork is seen on

Thank you, Walmart for donating One Thousand dollars in gift certificates to Golden Hill School.
Twenty teachers received a $50 gift certificate to spend on healthy snacks and supplies.
