Welcome February! It is hard to believe we are already halfway through the school year! We have had a lot of significant accomplishments over the past month and have many great events coming up in February.

Early Kindergarten Registration
Registration for free all-day Kindergarten for 2025-2026 opens FEBRUARY 1st!
If your child will be 5 years old by August 31, 2025, you can register early starting FEB 1st. Deadline for early registration is May 1st.
Complete the registration application with all the required documents or must book an appointment to come in person and meet with an enrollment specialists.
Current Moody Preschool students do NOT need to re-register.
2025 February Vacation Academy
HPS will once again be offering Vacation Academies during the February break with our Community Partners: YMCA, YWCA, and the Boys & Girls Club. This Academy features academic lessons and recreational activities during February vacation to keep students engaged in learning and to provide working families with an option of high-quality childcare at no cost.

Device Waiver Fee
As part of the District’s 1:1 initiative, every Haverhill Public Schools student receives a HPS-issued Chromebook. HPS offers the opportunity to protect school-issued devices for the school year by paying a Device Waiver Fee. As outlined in the HPS Student Technology Device Policy, this $20 fee will help to cover the costs of potential damage, repair, or loss for the school year for the assigned device.
