    The afterschool program is for ages 6-18. The club provides engaging programs, academic enrichment, a hot meal every day, nurturing staff, and a welcoming and safe environment. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in many activities and learn new skills every day.

    The primary focus is to provide academic and social support as well as enrichment activities to students who are economically disadvantaged or have other risk factors. The intent is to help level the playing field for these students so they may experience opportunities they may not otherwise have.

    The before/after-school program offers a fun, educational environment that helps students develop self-confidence, friendships, positive values, and academic achievement. Activities include STEAM, homework time, social-emotional/team building activities, and physical activity/enrichments. Registered children receive a free Y youth membership.     At the YWCA, we offer a safe, enriching, and fun environment year-round for children aged 5 to 13, with programs designed to support academic success and help children become more engaged, effective learners. Program benefits include a healthy snack after school, nutritious morning and afternoon snacks during summer and school vacations, one-way transportation from your child’s school to the YWCA site, homework help & academic enrichment, and full access to YWCA facilities such as our pool and gymnasium.

    The afterschool program is for ages 6-18. The club provides engaging programs, academic enrichment, a hot meal every day, nurturing staff, and a welcoming and safe environment. Your child will have the opportunity to participate in many activities and learn new skills every day.

     

     HPS Discovery Club

    The primary focus is to provide academic and social support as well as enrichment activities to students who are economically disadvantaged or have other risk factors. The intent is to help level the playing field for these students so they may experience opportunities they may not otherwise have.

    The before/after-school program offers a fun, educational environment that helps students develop self-confidence, friendships, positive values, and academic achievement. Activities include STEAM, homework time, social-emotional/team building activities, and physical activity/enrichments. Registered children receive a free Y youth membership. Care is also offered during school vacations, snow days, and half days. Link to flyer.

    At the YWCA, we offer a safe, enriching, and fun environment year-round for children aged 5 to 13, with programs designed to support academic success and help children become more engaged, effective learners. Our services run after school during the academic year and provide full-day care during school vacation weeks and the summer. Program benefits include a healthy snack after school, nutritious morning and afternoon snacks during summer and school vacations, one-way transportation from your child’s school to the YWCA site, homework help & academic enrichment, and full access to YWCA facilities such as our pool and gymnasium.
